1.Not financial advice
$LAMPORT is a memecoin. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold it. Its market price can be extremely volatile and can fall to zero. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely.
2.Smart-contract risk
The protection is enforced by two Solana programs (
lamport_authandlamport_hook). Programs can contain bugs. They will be audited before mainnet, but audits reduce risk; they don’t remove it. After the audit both programs are made immutable, so a bug found later cannot be patched. A bug could lock tokens, or fail to protect them.3.Key-management risk
Arming adds keys you must look after:
- Lose your second-key backups and you can only disarm through the seven-day wallet recovery.
- Lose them and have your wallet key stolen, and a thief can disarm after seven days with nothing you can do to stop it.
- Malware on a device that holds your wallet key and your unlocked Quick Key at the same time can defeat the protection.
- Recovery assumes you notice a recovery request within seven days. Check your vault.
4.What the protection does not cover
- Unarmed $LAMPORT is as exposed as any token.
- Burns don’t trigger transfer hooks: someone with your wallet key can burn armed $LAMPORT (they can never take it).
- Only $LAMPORT is protected. SOL and every other token in the same wallet are not.
- If your reveal transaction is censored for several slots while a thief also holds your wallet key, the thief could race you (see the paper, §8).
5.Market and liquidity risk
Few liquidity venues support tokens with active transfer hooks. Liquidity may be thin, venues may change their policies, and selling from an armed account requires an app that inserts the second-key proof. You may not be able to sell when you want to, or at the price you expect.
6.Quantum claims
“Quantum-proof” refers to the second key, which is built only from hash functions believed to resist quantum computers. Your Solana wallet key is still ed25519, which is not quantum-resistant. The claim is about what the hook enforces, not about your wallet as a whole.
7.Preview data
Until launch, numbers on the hook monitor, vault and Bounty Wallet pages are sample data, and every flow is simulated. Don’t make decisions based on them. The token address and buy link appear once they are real.
8.Regulatory risk
Rules about digital assets differ by country and change. You are responsible for following the law where you live, including taxes.
